Introducing "Chupacabra" and "Penguin" (from upcoming LP)

We've been writing a lot and getting ready for our November 22 visit to the North Branch Studio to begin recording our next album, as of yet untitled. Here are two rough takes for your pleasure. (Please ignore the vocals on "Penguin" as they're just placeholders for the electronic keys we normally play live at our shows and will be doing so in the studio.)

Animal Shot Glasses!

Perhaps a Christmas gift for a fellow Molanian?

"It's important to commune with Mother Nature, but who the hell communes with anyone without getting tore up first? Get primal-y primed, with Animal Shot Glasses ...From Japanese trinket-maestros Goody Grams, these 2oz black-glass shot glasses come with a black pewter base intricately carved into one of four beastie-heads. Your quaffer-choices: a bull or bear, both looking contemplatively up to the sky (checking out their own constellations?), a surly looking buck, and a stubby-horned rhino clearly crippled by keratin-protruding-from-the-head envy. After taking down your favorite courage-enabler, flip the glass over and it'll balance upright on its thoughtfully designed head 'til you're ready for another round with the most gut-thrashing animal of all...The Famous Grouse?"

Tonight at around 12:45pm CST (7:45am Oslo), Grun-Tu-Molani is hoping to project their animal sounds across the great Atlantic Ocean and into the valley of Dalsfjord in Western Norway. It's paid for by a crazy project known as "Telemegaphone Dale"...

"Elephant" Remix by Panepinto

Our good friend and producer from The Lodge out in NYC who will most likely be making a few guest apprearances on our upcoming LP has jumped head first into some of our stuff from A Sample of Mammalia. He used our stems to write a lot of it, but also sampled himself on vibes. Pretty dope. Here's his first remix of us, Elephant.
